We have just returned after coming for lunch today. We were warmly greeted by a very lovely member of staff who made sure we were happily seated. Although there wasn't a kids menu there was a couple of off menu options that the chef was happy to prepare for the kids. Myself and the other 3 adults that were part of our group thoroughly enjoyed our food. It was freshly cooked, full of flavour and the portions were incredible. I highly recommend the Steak and Kidney pudding , it was beautiful. Desserts were beautiful too. I look forward to coming again to try some of the fantastic food on offer.

We didn't stay but had lunch there. I had the steak and kidney pudding and my friends had the plough man's lunch. No complaints, |Food was lovely and staff friendly and efficient.|I was pleased that the mashed potato was real and not freeze dried rubbish!

Absolutely stunning little pub with a very traditional vibe. Fireplaces to keep the punters warm on chilly winter afternoons. My wife and I went in for a portion of chips, a hot chocolate and a pint. The staff were so wonderful and friendly. We felt extremely welcomed and valued. We really cannot wait to come again for a proper meal! If I could, I would give more than 5 stars.

We spent a few weeks in the UK in early October, including a few days in Burley. We didn't stay here, but we had dinner in the pub several times. The service was excellent, and the food was even better. In particular, the steak and ale pie. So good. And they do an excellent burger as well. I definitely recommend the food here. And when we come back to the UK, I'd happily dine here again.

Just had the most fantastic lunch here. I had steak and kidney pudding it couldn't have been more home cooked if it tried. My group of friends all from Age UK all had different meals and they all said the same. The staff were friendly efficient and very helpfull. So a big thank you to the chef and staff for a very pleasent experience and enjoyable meal.

Nice looking place but that's about it, waited more than 40 mins for a very sub-par roast, it was the driest chicken I've ever tasted served with overcooked roasted potatoes and flavourless boiled vegetables. The beef one didn't look any better. It wasn't that cheap either, spent about £20 for roast and a beer. Can't say I recommend!
